Your search results are displayed in the form of a summary table.

You can view the records in two ways:

  • by clicking on the record number (left column), or

  • by selecting a group of records (by checking the boxes to the right of the records you want to view) and then clicking on the "preview" button.

Full Display Format for Records: Linked Records and Attached Files

When you display complete records, two buttons may appear in the upper right corner of the records:

  • linked records
  • attached files

Indeed, any record may be linked to one or several other records in the same folder or in another folder (for example, an experience record can be linked to the record describing the organisation that undertook the experience, or an equipment record can be linked to a multimedia document that provides a schema of how it operates, etc.).

The links are established by the information producers to let users know that related information is also available in the database.

Similarly, record authors can also attach files (Word, Excel, or any other format) in order to provide additional information outside the pre-defined, standardised record description format.

When records are linked to other records or when they contain attached files, these buttons let you access them.

Displaying Linked Records

When you click on the "linked records" button, the list of existing links is displayed.

Clicking on the number of a link record will open a new window and display the record.

For some records, the following message may be displayed next to the number of the linked record (instead of the record title): "You are not authorised to view this record".

This means that the author of the record has limited access to the record in question to working group members (InterDev partners), and public users cannot view the record.
