An InterDev Food Processing Programme in the Indian Ocean and
West Africa
In November 2002, InterDev Food Processing launched a new project
to expand the information service in West Africa and the Indian Ocean.
This project is conducted jointly by GRET (France), IUED (Switzerland),
CITE (Madagascar), and ENDA-GRAF (Senegal).
It aims to favour the creation of a network of InterDev partners in
both regions. This project has received the support of the European
Union (INCO programme).
Available Experience Records
The first months of data entry have built up a collection of
more than a hundred experience records.
The four themes defined as priorities by the group members are accessible
in the form of files to facilitate the readability of the database's
contents. This organisation also makes rapid and selective access
possible. The table below gives the number of records available in
each file.

A Newsletter
A short newsletter is being prepared to promote the newly available
experience records. It is intended to be a support for coordinating
and bringing together all InterDev users.
It will take the form of one page (recto-verso) giving the titles
of the experiences and their reference numbers. The list of records
will be organised by type of record and by field.
